fernee’s Beef & Bean Burritos

fernee’s note: for a vegetarian version, omit the meat and add 2 cups of your favorite shredded cheese.

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs extra lean ground round

1 16 oz can refried beans

1 t cumin

1 t chili powder

1 t garlic powder

1/4 t red pepper

1/2 t oregano

1 t salt

2 T flour

1/4 cup water

24 flour tortillas

DIRECTIONS

Brown the meat in a pan. When browned, add flour and water. Mix well.

Then add the seasonings and the refried beans. Taste!

Fill your flour tortillas and roll them up like a burrito.

Serve hot. They can easily be refrigerated or frozen and reheated in the microwave.

Tom Note: I love them exactly this way but sometimes I do add some shredded Mexican cheese blend to each burrito.
